Hello and thank you so much for visiting my site.  Please allow me to introduce myself.  I spent more than 13 years in the corporate world, raised children and earned an MBA before being laid off.  This was an excellent opportunity to step back to take stock of my life.  Although I was generally pleased with where I was at and what I was doing, I also decided it was time to take on something a little different.  One of the things I did was to start writing - both freelance for clients and fiction for fun. 

I do not freelance full-time, but will take on jobs when I believe I'm a good fit.  This means that sometimes I turn down jobs, but I would rather turn down the job and allow the client to find someone more in line with their goals than to take on something and have a client be unhappy with the end result.  

Listed below are some of the types of jobs that I consider a good fit. 

Market Research.   I still can't shake the BI background, but that's OK.  I love doing research and have access to several subscription only databases which provide the most up to date and accurate corporate information. 

E-Books.  Do you need more than just a page or two?  No worries.  I also write e-books complete with
graphics and formatting.  In their final version, they will be ready to publish  and distribute, usually in a pdf format. 

Instructional Materials.  I've written courses in nutrition, leadership and how-to content for multiple subjects. 

Sales and Marketing Copy.  Do you need a newsletter?  How about a series of e-mails, forums, blog posts or more?  I specialize in constructing word content that appeals to your target audience. 

Web Copy.  Are you creating a website but aren't 100% sure exactly what to say or how to say it?  I can help with either the whole website or just a few pages that might need tweaked. 

SEO Articles.  I write articles that are optimized for search engines.  Not only can I use the keywords in a natural way, I also make use of synonyms and ensure that your content contains quality information and is easy and natural to read.  SEO Articles are a great way to help grow organic traffic to your site. 

Magazine Articles.  I have been published in The Tea Room News and Alaska's Best Kitchen.  My focus for most articles is personal finance, parenting topics, personal growth topics and small business concerns. 

Technical White Papers.  If you need some difficult content created so that a non-technical user can understand the concepts and detailed information, I'm your gal!
